Hi all, I've created a profile on Cara, a fairly new artist showcase site which has a healthy anti-AI stance. You can find my profile here. I will probably update it only very occasionally - the portfolio is organised into rows of seven and it looks nicer with complete rows, so I'll upload work in batches as and when I have enough. I might have a reshuffle and downsize the number of platforms I use (I keep saying this!). Some just seem more work than they are worth - I did have Threads in my sights to cull, though at least the auto-sharing from Instagram seems to be working again, so it's not any effort now.

I'm certainly not alone in finding that organic reach and growth on social media platforms is becoming harder and harder - this was the main reason for making my website, so I'm less dependent on those algorithms.

Also: current and upcoming projects! I am working on something a bit hush-hush as a commission for a forthcoming game, so I'm afraid I can't share that, but once that's finished I will be working on some additions to a Blood Angels army for a local client, adding to the collection you can see in my portfolio page. For myself, I'd like to see if I can get my three Storr warriors from Cerberus Studios finished - they are lycanthropic barbarian warriors, and I'm quite keen to freehand some tattoo designs on their skin.
